Detailed project

NB: this form is filled entirely by the ones submitting the innovation.

What is the issue addressed?

The electric grid is being overloaded by the electrification of everything. More fossil fuels are required to account for this, meaning more CO2 released into the air. As of now, there is no viable solution to store renewable energy at grid scale and add resiliency to the grid.

How is the problem solved?

We are developing a differentiated and lower cost battery has the potential to be the new platform for grid batteries and truly enable 100% renewable electric generation. At full implementation, the DQE large-format battery can provide baseload to the grid while taking legacy generation offline.

What is the customer target?

Transmission and distribution companies, renewable and legacy electrical generation companies, standalone storage companies, EV charging stations, corporations, and governments with net-zero objectives.

How is this solution different?

The larger size, the introduction of pressurization, and simplification of systems.
